Method

  1. Boil the water and let it rest for a few seconds, up to about 96 ° C. It grabs 11 g of coffee to medium-thin milling.

  2. Put the paper filter on the cap, rinse it and screw the cap on the camera. Place the AeroPress on the cup, above the scale.

  3. Pour the coffee and pour 200 g of water at once, wet everything. Pour the plunger just 1 cm to create empty: so it does not drip.

  4. Wait two minutes.

    2 min

  5. Hold the AeroPress and the cup together and make a soft whirlpool. Wait 30 more seconds for the coffee to settle.

  6. Press slowly and constantly for about 30 seconds, until the end.

If it costs a lot of pressure, don't force: grind something thicker next time.

Tips and warnings

  • It's a very tolerant recipe: if you like it more intense, it goes up to 13-14 g without changing the water.
  • Clean the AeroPress right after: remove the cap and push the coffee disk into the trash.
  • Press on a resistant and well-supported cup on the counter.
  • Without AeroPress: a Clever Dripper or a small French press with the same proportion and 3 minutes of infusion give a similar cup, something less clean in the press.

One last thing

Thirty seconds of gentle pressure and you’re done. Buying us a Ko‑Fi takes even less time.
