No Espresso coffee maker? This works too
- AeroPress€35–55A plastic cylinder with plunger: immersion and a soft pressure. Versatile, resistant and almost unbreakable. Ideal for travel.
- Portable espresso€130–350Hand and compact equipment, type Picopresso or Flair, that reach the pressure of the espresso without electricity. To travel or to begin.
- Italian coffee maker (moka)€20–60The life-long stove coffee maker: the steam pushes the water through the coffee. Intense, with body and very cheap.
Method
If you want the sweetest version, put the candy syrup in the bottom of the glass.
Fill the glass with ice and add the orange juice.
Prepare a double espresso ("Espresso" recipe) and pour it slowly on the ice to keep it in layer.
Decorate with an orange slice and remove before drinking.
Tips and warnings
- A clear-tweeded coffee with citrus notes, like a washed Ethiopian, is the best home with orange.
- With the newly squeezed orange you can see much more than with brik juice.
