Pacamara was born in El Salvador in 1958, at the ISIC research institute, crossing Pacas with Maragogipe. The name brings together the two halves: Pacas + Maragogipe. It was not released for the producers until the late 1980s.
From Maragogipe he inherited the size: his grains are huge, of the greatest that you will see. Packs, a more compact and manageable plant.
In the cup is intense and highly recognizable: herbal and floral notes, and tropical fruit. There are those who love her and find her too much.
- Parents: Pacas and Maragogipe.
- Origin: El Salvador.
- Very big grains.
Because of its size, it adjusts the milling calmly and starts with a filter method. A natural Pacamara in V60 or AeroPress, with clear tweets, is a good way to discover it. If you find it too intense, try a wash: it is usually more contained.
